Particularly pleased with this item and am pleased I chose the watch with Heart Rate Monitor (HRM). Painless to use, looks fantastic and does exactly what I require - an great watch for an individual who runs frequently but isn't necessarily a sportsperson. I am impressed by the HRM, which is helping me monitor my health and running. I am seriously considering acquiring the 'ladies' version for my daughter and highly suggest this make. I hope the prices do come down in the course of the year - as the watch is still fairly high-priced. In summary, I am pleased I brought the Garmin 110 GPS Forerunner with HRM - I do not consider buyers will be disapointed - its uncomplicated use and perceived reliability tends to make it excellent for me.
Got the forerunner setup genuinely rapidly, all details you need to have is displayed, satellite place could be a bit quicker. The heart rate strap is a bit on the heavy side compared to my old Polar 1. The uploading feature needs a lot of software as in Garmin USB-drivers, communication tools and what have ya. The garminconnect page is excellent although to preserve track of your training.
Then you upgrade the Web Explorer and the uploading stops operating. Immediately after a recommended firmware upgrade the gadget stops working altogether-having utilised it only for two weeks. Return to sender - a couple of days later I receive a refurbed replacement only to find out that some guy in California made use of it for a year already as the stored history of the device reveals.
It is operating now but nonetheless unhappy with buying a new one and getting an old one back. Would I get once more? not sure...
